It is not always easy to watch birds in a park and often we wish we could see them at closer quarters. One sure way to attract them to your yard or windowsill is to build them a birdfeeder. In this easy to follow craft book the author not only describes how to make nine attractive and unique looking feeders, but she also makes sure that her readers have all the information they need to actually attract birds to the feeders that they build.

The author begins by describing what tools, methods, and materials will be needed to build the feeders. She talks about how the tools should be used and what you need to do to make sure that no one gets hurt in the building process. The designs themselves are often amusing to look at and they are also practical and solidly made so they should last for many years.

It is quite extraordinary to see what one can make with a ketchup bottle, washers, tape and a few other materials and best of all the results will provide children and their families with hours of wonderful bird watching time.
