Satomi Ichikawa

Satomi was born in Gifu, Japan. She left Japan in 1971 to live in Paris where she still lives. Satomi taught herself illustration and has become well known for her unique illustrated worlds portraying nature peopled with curious and lively children. Over her long career she has produced several award-winning and critically acclaimed books for children.
