You may not know it to look at it, but the collection of cut-outs on the first double page spread of this book, if put together correctly, will create the picture of a common barnyard animal. Can you figure out what it is? If you turn the page you can see how the cut out images can be put together to produce a cunning fluffy bodied little lamb.

Here we are on the next page. Once again we are presented with that black question mark and a series of cut-outs. Hmmmm. What animal will these cut-outs create? Turn the page and we see a frog. Who would have thought it!

Children and their grownups will have a wonderful time trying to figure out what this collection of six cut-out pictures represent. In some cases a shape will offer up a clue. A curvy tail suggests a cat or a mouse, and a fluffy shape suggests the body of a sheep or lamb. For others it will take some imagination and maybe a pen and paper to figure out what the creature is. Children will enjoy touching the pages and everyone will have a good laugh when they see the delightful, and loud, finale.
