Richard Egielski

  Richard Egielski was the winner of the 1987 Caldecott Medal for his illustrations in Hey, Al, written with Arthur Yorinks.
 Mr. Egielski’s fanciful and highly imaginative style can bee seen in The Tub People and The Tub Grandfather, both by Pam Conrad, and Buz and Jazper, which he wrote and illustrated, both of which are New York Times Best Illustrated Books for Children.
  Mr. Egielski lives in Milford, NJ.
