Tiny Farm
Novelty Board Book
For ages 3 to 5
Chronicle Books, 2017 ISBN: 978-1452151588
Welcome to Tiny Farm. Not surprisingly, Tiny Farm is not very big and yet it manages to pack all kinds of wonderful experiences into a small space. There is something here for every visitor, including you.
For the person who loves horses you can visit a mare and a filly, and perhaps you could even ride one of them. The horses have won lots of trophies, so they are sure to be beautifully trained.
They are not the only animals on the farm who have won accolades. The pigs have also earned lots of ribbons, and at the moment there are eleven piglets to cuddle.
In the petting park you can pet llamas, sheep, a dog, and a duck. They are all friendly and sweet. There are also birds on the farm that you can seek out, both wild and domesticated.
When you want a break from all the animals, you can go to the orchard and berry patch where you can pick apples and strawberries. You can also explore the corn field. The corn is so high now that you could hide in there for hours and no one would be able to find you.
When you are tired you can head into the farmhouse and have a cup of tea in the kitchen.
This cunning little board book offers little children the opportunity to visit a little farm where they can look at the animals, and have fun learning the names of the things that we find on a farm. Every spread is packed with illustrations, and on each one there are cut outs that children can look through. Some of the items shown in the artwork are annotated with name labels.
