If you want to plant a garden, you are going to need some tools, compost, water, and some sun. Using the tools, you will prepare the ground and then plant your seeds. It is a good idea to label your row so you know what you have planted where.

In time, your seeds will start to sprout, and when they have grown a little more, your flowering plants will have buds that will bloom. You will still need to work to take care of your garden because weeds will pop up, and insects will be interested in eating your plants. You will have pull up the weeds, and do something to encourage the insects to go somewhere else for dinner.

With a very simple text, colorful illustrations, and clever lift the flap features on every double page spread, this Teenie Greenie title will show little children how to plant and tend a garden.
