Going to camp is going to be great fun. There are going to be lots of things to do, new people to meet, and new things to try. Of course there are also going to be quiet times, and for those times there is this kit. In it you will find a structured journal, stationary for letter writing, stickers to decorate your journal and letters, a star chart, and a four color pen.

You will begin your journal by writing down basic information about yourself such as where you come from, what your favorite things are, and who you are sharing your tent or cabin with. There is a place to draw a map of your camp, a place to write down important addresses, a scheduler, and so much more. This is just the beginning, for your journal is also full of tips and bits of information. Feeling homesick? The journal will help you with this as well.

Next there is a section of "Jokes, Puzzles and Games" which is followed by a section called "Roughing it." Here you will get to see how tough you really are and you will learn what to do if you have a close encounter with a bear, deer, a coyote, a beehive, a skunk, or a snake. You will also find tips about basic first aid as well.

Finally there is an "In the Cabin" section which has scary stories, suggestions of pranks you can play on your new friends, and much more.
