Snowy the polar bear cub loves his mother very much indeed and he wants to show her how he feels. It is very important to him that he creates a gift for her that is a secret. Now this is not easy to do because Snowy’s mother is very vigilant and she does not let her cub wander off for long. Snowy has to become quite creative to get a little time to himself to make his present for his mother. As she fishes and prepares their meals, Snowy goes off “to play” and to retrieve a “dropped toy.” But, at last his masterpiece is complete and he can finally show is mother how he feels about her and how much he loves her.
