On a winter’s day a rabbit grandfather sits in a rocking chair and tells his little grandchild how much he used to love playing in the snow with his brother Max when he was young rabbit. Every winter morning he would look out the window to see if it had snowed, and if it had he and Max would bundle up and go outside to play.

The little rabbits would try to catch snowflakes on their tongues, they would look at snowflakes on their paws, and they would “make prints with our bodies” in the fresh snow. They would sled down the hill, and once they made a snow rabbit.

With charming cut-paper artwork and a simple little story to follow, this board book offers little children a thoroughly delightful picture of snowy winter fun.
