Though it is wonderful to buy pretty and interesting accessories, it can be even more rewarding to make them yourself. When they use this excellent craft kit, young crafters will learn how to turn plain plastic bangles into unique accessories that they can keep for themselves or give to friends. The kit includes a book of instructions, five plastic bangles, a variety of ribbons, glue, and a ruler. In addition crafters will need a sharp pair of scissors, some clear nail polish, and toothpicks to spread the glue.

The book begins by showing crafters how to create a basic bangle. Illustrated instructions show readers how to use the ribbons, how to glue them to the bangles, and how to prevent the cut ends of the ribbon from fraying.

Next there are nine projects to try. The projects get more complex, with the last project being a bangle that requires you to weave four different ribbon strands around a bangle to create a complex and pretty design.

Young crafters will surely enjoy trying the projects in this unique kit. None of the projects are particularly hard to do, nor do they take a long time to complete. Photos of the completed projects can be found throughout the book, and the directions (with their annotated illustrations) are well written and easy to follow.
