Drawing farm scenes can be a lot of fun. For one thing, you can pack them with all kinds of details, and for another, your farm scenes require animals, and who can resist funny curly-tailed pigs, sweet chicks, and beautiful horses. Artist Ralph Masiello knows all too well how much fun it is to draw farm scenes and he has created this book to help young artists to create wonderful farm pictures of their own.

The author begins by showing young artists how to draw a variety of animals. Each step of the drawing process is clearly shown, which makes it easy to follow what to do. Ralph Masiello also shows his readers what the finished animals looks like drawn in color and with some background elements added, such as hills, grass, and hay bales. After the animals he shows readers how to draw a tractor, and a barn. As he does in all his drawings books, the author encourages young artists to “have fun.”

This is one in a diverse series of how-to drawing books. Other titles show artists how to create pictures of robots, dinosaurs, dragons, insects, and more.
