For years Taro Gomi has been creating the most wonderful drawing and coloring books for children. Now he has a new offering that will give children hours of entertainment. In this book there are over sixty punch out toys and games that children can put together for themselves.
On every page there are punch outs that are easy to remove and which can be used to create either flat or three-dimensional paper creations. Taro Gomi begins with a ring toss game. A colorful cone can be punched out and put together and then there are punch out rings of different sizes that can be thrown over the cone.
Next there are finger puppets to punch out. In all there are thirty-four finger puppet characters including children, grownups, animals, and a witch. There are even flower and tree finger puppets and children can create their own little plays using these puppets.
Games and toys are not the only things included in this book. There are also ornaments, frames and treasure boxes. Simple instructions are included with every project so that children and their grownups can see how to put them together.
