Pizza is one of those foods that people all over the world enjoy eating. The good news is that it really isn’t that hard to make, which means that it a perfect cooking project to share with children.
In this clever novelty board book, children are shown how to make their own pizza using homemade dough, prepared tomato sauce, and cheese. The author begins by showing us the ingredients that we are going to need, and the tools that will be required to make our pizza.
Next we make our dough. We begin by proofing the yeast in warm water and sugar. While the yeast is proofing, we combine flour and salt in a large bowl. When the yeast is ready, we combine the dry ingredients with the yeast mixture and olive oil, and mix until the dough is ready to be kneaded.
The next step is going to require patience because we have to let the dough rise. Only after it has doubled in size can we get to work to make our pizza.
Children are going to love this wonderful board, which serves both as a recipe book and as an interactive novelty book. Every spread offers children a tab to pull, or a dial to turn, or a flap to lift.
