Phoebe is a tree frog and she has three rules in her life. The first is to “make lots of friends” and this Phoebe does with great energy. Indeed wherever she goes Phoebe runs into old friends and she also makes new ones. One day Phoebe swims down to where her little creek at the bottom of the canyon runs into the river and there she meets a fish called Chub. The two become fast friends and they do everything together. It is to Chub that Phoebe follows through on her second rule which is to “make your wishes known.” She tells Chub that she wishes she could fly.

What Phoebe does not expect is that Chub and her other friends will do what they can to make Phoebe’s wish come true. In turn Phoebe’s friends will learn something very precious from their froggy chum. They will learn her third rule which is to “Enjoy every moment!”

This charming picture book is a delightful tribute to the joys of friendship. Phoebe’s simple little rules also remind readers that life is best enjoyed when it is lived to the fullest.

With warm illustrations and loveable characters, this is a picture book which the whole family will enjoy.
