Stretch the dachshund and his family are going out into the yard. The parents are going to do yard work and the twins and Stretch are going to play peekaboo. First one of the twins thinks she sees Stretch’s tail behind the gate but when the gate is opened the other twin shows her that what she thought was a tail is just a hose. Stretch must be somewhere else. Then one twin thinks she sees Stretch behind a sheet but when the sheet is lifted aside we can all see that there is a teddy bear behind the sheet and not a little dog. Where is Stretch?

Young children will have a wonderful time lifting flaps and looking for Stretch in this charming little novelty title. Everyone will have a good laugh when they discover that while the twins were playing peekaboo, Stretch was doing something else quite different. Perhaps one could say that the little dog was conducting a treasure hunt!

Rich full page illustrations, a very minimal text, and a flap to lift on every sturdy double page spread makes this a perfect title for little children to enjoy.
