Imagine that you are in a zoo that is full of animals all kinds. Some of the animals are domestic or farm animals, and some are a little more exotic. Now, close your eyes, listen to the noises that the animals make, and try to guess what they are.

With this book in hand children can have a delightful guess-who bookish experience. On every spread they are presented with a noise sound that an animal makes, and they have to try to guess what the animal is. When they are ready, they can open the folded pages and a picture of the animal is revealed.

On the first spread we are asked, “Who says Woof Woof?” and when we open the two folded pages outwards we see a picture of a cheerful and smiling dog. Other sounds that we have to pair with an animal include clucks, meows, hisses, gobbles, and howls. There is even an animal that screeches, and apparently it likes to show off its feathers as well. The last hidden animal is perhaps the hardest to identify because this animal “flutters by silently.” Now, what kind of animal flutters?
