Mozart was a remarkable musician and composer. By the time he was five years old it was clear to everybody who heard him play that he had a natural and remarkable gift for making and creating music. When he was just twelve years old he composed a one-act comic opera called Bastien and Bastienne.

It was not long before Mozart was traveling all over Europe with his father. He was inspired by the countries and cities he visited, and so listening to his music “is like visiting other countries.” Though many of Mozart’s compositions are serious in nature, he had a well-developed sense of humor, and when he was asked to compose a dance song he ended up giving his audience A Little Night Music, which he told people was a lullaby.

Mozart was a prolific composer and wrote many symphonies, operas, and other pieces. For one of his most famous operas, The Magic Flute, Mozart created the opera’s special effects himself.

In this unique novelty title children are given the opportunity to learn a little about Mozart’s life, and they also get to hear five samples of his music, including A little Night Music and his Symphony No. 40.
