Jango the giraffe and Spike the elephant are going to visit a farm and we are going to go with them. Spike is a little nervous because he has never been to a farm before. Will the animals they meet be friendly he wonders, and will he know what they are? Thankfully the animals we see give us plenty of clues to help us figure out which animal is which. For example when Jango and Spike see an odd looking bird sitting on a nest the bird very helpfully tells them (and us) that she lays lots of eggs and that she makes a "CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK" sound.

Small children will love saying the animal noises in this book and better still they will enjoy opening up the folded over pages to see the photographs of the real farm animals beneath. Delightfully funny illustrations combined with bright clear photographs and an easy-to-follow text makes this a winning title to introduce young children to farm animals.
