Madame Croissant is a very skilled baker and she has decided to open up her own cupcake making business. Madame Croissant buys a much used van and paints Cupcakes a Go-Go on the side. She also makes a little baker’s hat and some saddlebags her dog, Mister Dash. He is going to be her delivery dog.

Though Mister Dash loves Madame Croissant, he does not like wearing the baker’s hat, which he is sure made him look “like a clown.” He does not like carrying boxes of cupcakes in his mouth, and the saddlebags make it hard for him to “put his best paw forward.” Nevertheless, Mister Dash, like all dogs, is a faithful animal and he does not complain.

He does not complain when Madame Croissant crashes her van into a stop sign. Nor does he complain when she takes on the job of baking five hundred cupcakes for Mayor Chester Field. He even manages to remain stoic when Daphne, Madame Croissant’s granddaughter, comes over. Daphne has a tendency to create chaos wherever she goes and that is exactly what she does on this very important day.

Readers who have read and liked the first Mister Dash book are going to enjoy this new, sweet, and tasty adventure.
