Max is an alligator and he has lots of animal friends who love to do all kinds of things for fun. Max likes to lift weights, while Casey the mouse likes to collect cards, and bookish Randy likes to read about relativity. Betty the raccoon bakes bird biscuits and Sandy the rabbit “swishes on skies.”

What would happen if these animals decided to switch their hobbies and their bodies with their friends? Would they have as much fun and enjoy what they were doing, or would the experiment be a disaster?

In this clever novelty title children will meet thirteen animals, each of which has a portrait that we can look at. The portrait is divided into three with a head section, a middle tummy section, and a foot section. The sections are on separate pages so that we can mix and match the body parts as we wish. For example, Jeff the seal’s head can be paired with Max’s tummy and Casey’s feet. Similarly the animal’s hobbies can be mixed and matched so that we end up with strange combinations. For example we could make Max read about bird biscuits.

Children are going to have a lot of fun creating all kinds of strange combinations as they mix and match the characters and hobbies presented in this book.
