Maisy and her friend Cyril the squirrel are driving the fire engine today. Being in charge of a fire engine is hard work. The two friends check to make sure the water is flowing through the hose properly. The water swooshes out of the hose and splashes Little Back Cat. The cat is so frightened that she climbs onto the roof of a building, and she refuses to come down. Maisy and Cyril are going to have to do something to help the poor cat.
Little children have been enjoying the Maisy Mouse books for more than a decade now. With their wonderful brightly-colored illustrations and their loveable main character, the Maisy stories have a charm all of their own.
