It is Christmas Eve, and Maisy’s friends are all coming over to Maisy’s house to celebrate. It is snowing hard, so Cyril uses his snowshoes to get to Maisy’s house. Charley and Tallulah get to Maisy’s house on a sled. Eddie the elephant sets off for Maisy’s house on foot, and he gets stuck in the deep snow. While his friends are preparing for Christmas in Maisy’s cheerful and warm little house, Eddie is outside in the snow and unable to move. What is going to happen to Eddie? Is he going to spend the whole of Christmas Eve trapped in a snow bank?
This small board book will perfectly suit little children. The story is engaging, the artwork is appealing, the characters are charming (as they always are in the Maisy books), and the ending is just right.
