Every Tuesday Lola and her mommy go to the library. Lola loves the library for there are so many things to do there. Not only are there so many books to look at and to borrow but there are also special events at the library – special events designed just for little children like herself. She can learn how to sing songs and she can listen to stories being read out loud. Best of all perhaps Lola and her mommy can read Lola’s library books when they get home. There is nothing quite like reading a book at the end of a long and happy day.

Little children who have never been to a library will find Lola’s story interesting and inviting, They too will want to go to a storytime and they too will want to watch ‘their’ books being scanned by the librarian’s machine. The author perfectly conveys that a library is a wonderful place; a place full of things to do, and treasures to discover.
