Thanksgiving

Every year, on the last Thursday of November, Americans celebrate Thanksgiving. Though the traditional thinking is that the Pilgrims were the first people to have such a celebration, the holiday's roots go much further back. Harvest festivals were celebrated by the Europeans and the Native Americans long before the Piilgrims arrived on the shores of the New World. For more information about the Pilgrims visit the Mayflower Feature page.
