Black History Month

Every February people in the United States and America remember important people and events in the history of African Americans. People learn about the enslavement of African Americans and what took place during the Civil Rights Movement. In addition they learn about the lives of famous African Americans such as Harriet Tubman, Frederick Douglass, Rosa Parks, and others.
