Louis Armstrong
Louis Satchmo Armstrong was a great American musician, famous for playing the trumpet, singing and being a bandleader. He was born in New Orleans in 1901, and had a significant impact on the development of jazz music from the 1920's until his death in 1971. For more on music, see the
