Catherine of Aragon

Henry VIII is often remembered today because he had six wives. The first of these was Catherine of Aragon, a Spanish princess. Catherine was unable to give Henry a son and because of this - in part - he decided to divorce her. This decision would have a profound effect on the future history of England.
