Bobby is a little dog who loves to get out and about. Having adventures is something that he enjoys doing, and he is always eager to try something new.
When we first meet Bobby he is standing next to his bike. We find out that Bobby rides his bike up and down the mountain and we are invited to ride along with him. There are four peaks so you better be ready to work hard.
Next Bobby is going to ride on his shiny, green scooter. He is going to ride “to the middle of the square” until he comes to the fountain. Again, we are invited to join Bobby and we go round and round the square until we get to the fountain that stands in the middle of the space.
Bobby does not limit himself to staying on the land. The little dog is happy to go to sea too and what a “wild sea” it is! The waves are huge, but Bobby bravely sets off in his little yellow boat and we can go along with him.
In this cunning book Bobby goes on nine adventures in nine different kinds of vehicles. In addition to the bike, scooter, and boat, he also goes on a go-kart, a train, a plane, a helicopter, a race car, and even a rocket.
On each of Bobby’s adventures little children can join him by using their finger to follow the path that Bobby takes. Following the channels set into the pages children will go up and down, left and right, and round in circles.
