Our senses are marvelous things. They allow us to experience our world and interact with it in so many wonderful ways. In this book little children will see how five different animals use their five senses.
We begin with a green elephant that has big pink ears. We see a scent wafting up towards the end of his long trunk, and when we turn the page we see that the elephant is smelling the aroma that is coming from some beautiful spring flowers.
Next we see an owl flying through the air above the trees. It has very large eyes which it uses to see all kinds of things. On the next page we see that the owl is looking at the stars in the night sky.
We go one to find out what a rabbit is listening to with its big ears, what a pig is tasting with its tongue, and what a little fox is touching with its paws.
With die-cuts to look through on every page, this charming little board book shows young children how we use our senses. Throughout the book beautifully rendered illustrations are paired with a simple text.
