One the things young children enjoy doing with their grownups is going to the local park. There is grass to play on, swings to swing on, and slides to climb up and slide down. There are birds and insects to look at, and flowers to sniff. There might even be a tree to climb. After an excursion to the park, children often like to record their experience using pencils, crayons, or paints. How do you draw a bird or a swing? How do you make a good picture of a slide?

In this novelty art kit, Simon Abbott shows children how to draw a tree, a slide, a butterfly, a bucket and shovel (for the sandbox), a bird, and a swing. Children only have to complete four steps to make each of the drawings, and the directions are visual, so no reading is required. All children have to do is to draw their picture with the marker that comes with the book, and then wipe the glossy page clean to start over.

This kit has sturdy board pages that will withstand much use, and there are colorful illustrations throughout to inspire young artists.
