Welcome ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. You are about to watch a series of performances, so prepare to be dazzled by dancers and a gymnast who are here to entertain you.

We begin with a ballet dancer who can “twirl” in her tutu, point her toes, and plie. She is followed by a boy in a slick white suit who is ready to “Boogie and groove,” and rip the floor up with his disco dance.

Next we will see something a little different. Here is a girl who can “do dancy tricks / on the floor and the beam.” She is a wiz when it comes to a “gymnastic routine.”

What makes this bouncy, happy board book special is that it interactive. Two die-cut holes that go through the book make it possible for little children to dance and jump with the characters. All they have to do is put two of their own fingers through the holes to serve as legs for each of the dancers. A fold-out page at the back of the book allows little readers to invite their friends to use their dancing fingers to create a grand show.
