One morning Mick, Mack, and Molly - three little squirrel siblings - wake up to discover that there has been a big snowfall in the night. Not surprisingly the threesome are eager to go outside to play. Their parents, on the other hand, are not keen to go outdoors at all.

So, after eating breakfast and getting warmly dressed, Mick, Mack, and Molly go out to play with their sled. They soon discover that they are not strong enough to pull the sled by themselves. And so they persuade their reluctant Papa to join them. And what follows turns their snow day into a hooray day.

Anyone who has enjoyed a snow day will remember how the snow turns everyone into a child again. It just isn’t possible to be stuffy when there are mounds of snow to play in.

With wonderful illustrations and a simple and warming story, this picture book is a perfect read for the winter season
