It is Christmas Eve and a little boy is trying to guess what Santa is going to bring him. Will Santa bring him a “dragon who soars high with me?” Maybe there will be a submarine under the tree tomorrow morning that will take the little boy and his dog under the sea. Perhaps Santa will deliver a rocket, or even a whole marching band that will play the little boy’s “favorite tune.”
In this sweet board book with its touch-feel-surfaces and its lift-the-flap surprise ending, children will meet a little boy who has big Christmas gift dreams. With his beloved red and white bandana clutched in his hands and wearing his striped pajamas, the main character in this story is easy to identify with. Wonderful multimedia illustrations and a simple rhyming text make this a perfect title to share with a small child around Christmas time.
