It is a snowy day and Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare are outside playing I spy. Little Nutbrown Hare begins by saying “I spy something that belongs to a tree,” and after some thought his father guesses that what his little son has spied is a leaf. Now it is Big Nutbrown Hare’s turn to spy something and he sees something “that belongs to a spider.” Little Nutbrown Hare soon finds a beautiful spider’s web in the crook of a tree.

Taking it in turns the hares play their game until Big Nutbrown Hare says “I spy something that belongs to me.” This is a “tricky” clue and Little Nutbrown Hare may need a little help before he can figure it out.

The author and illustrator who gifted us Guess How Much I Love You have delighted readers with their books for many years. Now they offer us this beautiful, deluxe cut-paper creation in which their two lovable hare characters have charming little adventures in the snow.
