It is the last day of February, and Rabbit is excited because it will soon be St. Patrick’s Day. This year, Rabbit is going to grow his own shamrocks so that he can wear them to the St. Patrick’s Day parade. Carefully Rabbit plants his shamrock seeds in a pot. He makes sure they get plenty of sunshine and water, and soon enough he sees little shamrock seedlings coming up.

On St. Patrick’s Day, Rabbit wakes up to discover that something truly dreadful has happened; someone has stolen his pot of shamrocks. What could have happened to the pot and the shamrocks that he had so carefully tended?

Young children are sure to have a good laugh when they see what happens in this amusing little story. They will be very pleased to see that Rabbit is able to enjoy his Saint Patrick’s Day after all.
