Teaching young children about colors, shapes, and sizes can be great fun. In this flap- filled title, readers will learn about sizes. On the first page of each double page spread, we are shown something that is short, big, wide, or tiny. When we lift the flap on the opposite page, we see something that is the opposite of what is on the first page. Thus, opposite a picture of a “big” elephant we lift the flap to see a “small” yellow chick.

As they explore the pages of this board novelty book, children will not only get a sense of different sizes, they will also learn some wonderful size words.
