If you look into the eyes of an animal, and only at its eyes, can you tell me what the animal is? In this special book the author presents us with eight sets of eyes. She also gives us lots of written clues to help us figure out what kind of animal owns those eyes. For example, on the first page we are told that the animal whose eyes are looking at us has a "waddle"" to its walk. It also sports webbed feet and it can find food under water. When we unfold the page we see a complete picture of the mystery animal.

The written clues not only help us to decide what the animal is, but they also give us some interesting information about the animal. For example, did you know that raccoon like to fish when the sun is setting, or that a bobcat can see well both at night and by day?

Finally, on the last page, the author shows us all eight of their animals in their natural habitat. It is going to take a sharp pair of eyes to find the animals hidden in the trees and undergrowth.

Young nature lovers will find this book both interesting and challenging.
