Dinosaurs came a wide variety of sizes, shapes, and colors. Some were gentle herbivores who were content to eat leaves, grass, and shrubs, while others were predators who actively sought out prey to eat.

In this clever novelty title we meet a colorful - and textured - selection of dinosaurs that live in different habitats. There are winged dinosaurs with “feathery wings,” that soar in the skies, while large armored dinosaurs with “spiky tails” and “bumpy scales” lumber across the earth. In the forest a hungry predator stalks, while wary plant eaters keep their eyes open for danger.

Little children are going to love exploring the colorful and touch-and-feel dinosaurs in this novelty title. There are pages to open, wheels to turn, pop-ups to enjoy, things to touch, and at the back of the book the author provides us with a labeled picture of all the dinosaur species mentioned in the narrative. Children are invited to try to find all the dinosaurs pictured. Now where was that Oviraptor that I saw?
