When a special occasion comes up in the lives of our friends and family members we often go to a shop to buy a card to give them. Though the cards we buy are funny, touching, or pretty to look at, they are not as personal as a card that is homemade. Using this kit young crafters can make a wide selection of unique cards that feature flowers.

The kit includes everything that a crafter will need to make several cards. There are eight cards and envelopes, paper cutouts of flowers, vases, leaves, and other items, green wire, glue, glitter, mounting squares, and dimensional tape.

In the instruction book the author begins by explaining what the items in the kit are. She also has a short list of additional supplies that the crafter might need: scissors, scrap paper, and toothpicks. She then goes on to explain how to the cards are made.

Next the author walks the crafter through the process of making a card. She demonstrates - using text, photos and illustrations - how to assemble a card and how one can use the various supplies to get different effects. Tips on many of the pages will help the crafter avoid mistakes and problems.

This is a wonderful little kit that crafters can use to make one-of-a-kind cards of their own. They will be able to use the techniques that they learn creating the flower cards to make all kinds of paper crafts using a variety of materials.
