Churchill was a pig of many parts. There were many things that he cared about, including smelling flowers, painting, playing music, reading books, and having tea with two of his friends.  There was one thing though that Churchill was especially fond of: his tail. It was a classic pig tail (pink with a curl), but even though it was not big or particularly useful, Churchill’s tail “made him feel great.”

Then one day Churchill woke up and his tail was missing. He searched everywhere for it, but it was nowhere to be found. Poor Churchill was thoroughly miserable, and so his friends decided to do something about the problem. They encouraged Churchill to try a new tail and soon Churchill was having so much fun experimenting with different tails that he totally forgot about his friends.

In this deliciously amusing picture book readers will meet a pig who, for a while at least, forgets how precious his friends are. Children are going to laugh out loud when they see how addicted Churchill gets to tails and how he gets into a groove every time he tries out a new one.
