It is Christmas time, and two children are having a wonderful time enjoying the festive season. The little boy makes a snowman, the little girl decorates an outdoor tree, and then the two of them, with their little dog for company, deliver a package using their sled. Then, on Christmas Eve, Santa comes to visit, bringing the little girl a doll, and the little boy a horn.
In this clever little board book, Nancy Davis tells a holiday story that little children are sure to enjoy. On every double page spread there is a press-out play piece of a shape (a circle, a star, a square, a crescent, and a triangle) that the little reader can insert into the correct place on the illustration. Then, at the back of the book, there is a large fold out illustration with five empty shape spaces to fill.
