Busy Baby is out and about and when we first see him he is driving a fire truck to the scene of a fire. Busy Baby is going to have to drive fast if he is going to get there on time, but we know that he can do it.
When we next see Busy Baby he is at the wheel of a cement mixer. There is a crack in the sidewalk, which is very dangerous, and so Busy Baby is asked if he will stop the truck and fix the damage. Naturally, Busy Baby is glad to help.
In this novelty board book children get to go out in a five very different trucks, each one of which provides a service for the animal characters who fill Busy Baby’s world. In the center of the book there is a die-cut hole, and within this there is a disk with Busy Baby’s face printed on it, which can be turned to show a happy face or a sad one. Every time Busy Baby helps out his friends children can turn the face so that Busy Baby is smiling.
