Mommy Rabbit has a baby called Bunny and as she loves him from his long ears to his "great big feet" Mommy Rabbit likes to call her baby "Bunny, my Honey." Like so many other mothers Mommy Rabbit teaches her son how do all sorts of things and when one of his games goes wrong she comforts him.

Then one day Bunny wanders off and soon he is quite lost. Not surprisingly Bunny starts to cry and to call for his mother. With that magic that is a mystery to all children Mommy Rabbit is already looking for her Bunny. Calling for him in a loud voice Mommy Rabbit soon finds her lost little son, sweeping him up into her arms and giving him lots of hugs and kisses.

Any child and any mother who have lost one another at some time will perfectly identify with Mommy Rabbit and her Bunny. There is nothing quite like a mother’s love and care when something bad happens.

Full of expression and warmth Anita Jeram’s illustrations perfectly complement the minimal text in this picture book.
