One day a mouse comes to a brick wall and he sees that a flower is growing out of a crack. The mouse picks the flower and a brick falls out. When he looks through the hole in the wall that he has unintentionally created, the mouse sees that there is an interesting looking place on the other side.

The mouse carries off the brick and then other animals come to join him and they help to dismantle the wall until the sea and a piece of land is revealed. When the animals go to look across the water at the other piece of land, they see that another group of animals lives there, animals that are exotic and different looking. If only there was a way to connect the two pieces of land so that animals could meet.

This wonderful board book explores how people can bring down walls and make connections with others if they work together. It is a celebration of collaborations that bring about change, and that offer us hope at the same time.
