When Boy wakes up he is feeling cold. “Where’s warm?” he asks, and his Ma and Pa tell him that he will find warmth in bed with them, but Boy does not want to share their bed, he wants to have a warm place that is all his. So, off Boy goes to find a warm place for himself.

Outside his cave there is a world full of extraordinary creatures, and Boy soon discovers that these animals; a saber-toothed tiger, a mammoth, and a dinosaur, don’t want to share their warm places with him. Just like him, they don’t want to share.

On Boy goes until he finds a wonderfully warm place. Unfortunately what he has found is a volcano and when it erupts Boy runs away, back to the one place where he is wanted and loved, back to the cave that he shares with his Ma and Pa.

Throughout this book delicious soft full page illustrations provide a wonderful backdrop for this little tale that is about sharing and being a part of a loving family.
