These days there are very few places left where one can go to get a milkshake and a juke box tune. Diners are mostly a thing of the past, alas. But, in the pages of this book we can take a little trip to a very special diner, the Blue Moo. Once we have put in our order for shakes and fries, we can take a look at the colorful "Bluemoozik!" jukebox to see what songs are available.

You can do one of two things as you listen to the songs on the enclosed CD. If you want to you can look at some delightful pictures in the "Look While You Listen" section. The pictures are wonderfully funny, and it would be miraculous if you don't find yourself smiling at them as you listen to the songs. Or, if you are more serious and want to look at the actual music score and perhaps the chords, you can look at the "Sing and Play Along? section instead."

Of course, the songs themselves are quite special. Many of them are pretty funny. There is the one about a parade that marches, uninvited, through someone's house. To make matters worse, the band marches through the kitchen because they need a snack! And what about the love song in which the love lorn singer tells his lady how much he adores her nose. Who ever heard of such a thing?

In addition to the two main sections, there also is a section where the reader/listener can find more information about the singers. Some of the names will be familier; for example B.B. King, Davy Jones, and Patti LuPone, while others may not be so well known. Needless to say, all the singers are talented and they all give their special something to this one of a kind album.
