When you are a robot, your belly is full of gears that make it possible for you to move about, do things, and perhaps talk. How do these gears make a robot go?
In this book, with a little help from a bright red robot, we are able to see how the teeth on gears lock together. When one gear moves, the one that is connected to it also moves. We are able to actually turn the gears ourselves and watch them work, which is a pretty amazing thing to be able to do.
As children turn the pages of this unique board book, they are presented with more and more gears that move and turn, and eventually they will see how the purple gear on the first page is able to turn the green gear that they see on the last page.
