Fathers love to find ways to make their children’s lives more interesting, more exciting, and more…well more of everything good that they can think of. In this picture book we meet a father who “would do anything” for his daughter. He tells us how, if he were a director, “I would cast you as my star” so that his daughter’s face “would light up movie screens in cities near and far.” If he were an inventor he would build his daughter a wondrous “high-tech” tree that turns into a tree house when he turns a “secret key.”
With wonderful rhyming couplets and deliciously magical pictures, this picture book reminds children that a father’s love is all encompassing, and that fathers do all they can to make their children’s “dreams come true.”
