Chieu Anh Urban
Author Chiêu Anh Urban was born in Saigon , Vietnam , and at the age of five, she and her family fled to the US after the fall of the Republic of Vietnam in 1975, along with over 7000 refugees. Growing up in Northern Virginia, she obtained her BFA in Communications & Design from Virginia Commonwealth University , and then began her career as a graphic designer. Today, she lives in suburban Maryland (near Washington DC ) with her husband and three daughters, and works from her studio.
