Polly Horvath

Polly Horvath grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan but finally settled in Metchosin on Vancouver Island. Polly has written numerous children's books. She has been getting a lot of attention worldwide as many of her books are published in multiple languages. Her books have received many accolades in the form of awards and placements in various top 100 lists. Polly's many awards include the Newbery Honor and the National Book Award.
